And somethings are even preserved in the internet forever no matter how hard you try to erase yourself.
I stand by my words.
I'm not a liar.
Think of me as a Greek Chorus (no not the one from STC) who's there to remind you of the things you've said in the past. (Look it up in Wikipedia, it's existed for thousands of year, even before your beloved KJV).
Also, since the KJV didn't come around till 1611, and the printing press didn't exist till 1440, how do you think the people got the gospel? From their priests you silly duck. That's why we have stained glass windows, nativity scenes and the like.
And you my dear, have flip-flopped in your writings as well:
12/21/2006 JUSTIFYING how the Christmas Tree & candy cane are Christian symbols
Feb 2011 you posted the exact same thing you posted today (2-6-2012). Recycling again?
And of course your post giving a defense of Christmas and how the bible PROVES Jesus was born in December. And the bible is full of verses that make a Christmas tree a great idea. She closed with this "If you decide to celebrate Christ’s birthday, don’t judge those who choose not to. They may just be weaker in the faith. On the other side of the coin, if you choose not to Celebrate Christ’s birthday, don’t judge those who choose to celebrate it. This is a biblical principle: don’t judge others on which days, holidays, Sabbaths, Lord’s Days, and feasts they keep unto the Lord".
I love to do research and it's a great pastime while I wait for my school term to commence. Yeah, an old lady in school. Legal eagles and all that aside, Jesus would sit you down and ask you why you resort to what you do.
Lord, in every need let me come to You with humble trust saying, "Jesus, help me."
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations, Jesus, help me.
In hours of loneliness, weariness, and trials, Jesus, help me.
In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles, and sorrows, Jesus, help me.
When others fail me and Your grace alone can assist me, help me.
When I throw myself on Your tender love as a father and savior, Jesus, help me.
When my heart is cast down by failure at seeing no good come from my efforts, Jesus, help me.
When I feel impatient and my cross irritates me, Jesus, help me.
When I am ill and my head and hands cannot work and I am lonely, Jesus, help me.
Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls, and shortcomings of every kind, Jesus, help me and never forsake me.
Amen.
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations, Jesus, help me.

I too have been surprised by the 'new' childhood/home life Candy has made up for herself. Now...on a stretch: it is possible she painted (originally) her homelife to garner sympathy. I remember her sharing hiding under her bed or something while bad things were going on in her home. Many of her followers don't go back as far as a good portion of us do: to her Life with Christ days.
ReplyDeleteIt is possible that she falsely represented her childhood and is now convicted, changing her tune.
However, I doubt she'll allow your comment to stay up more than a few hours at best. Copy and paste it here. Meanwhile, see if the Archivist has her original words about her home life.
Sadly, you're also probably banned from commenting at her site.
My empathy. I've been where you are now.
I don't care.
ReplyDeleteHer SIL has filled us in on some background.
She's a sad sad woman.
