Just off the wall. . .

I didn't watch the Grammys, took a peek at the BAFTA's though. I'm not much into awards programs, the music ones don't play the music I enjoy and the Oscar's, well I'm not much of a movie goer. I'm more lets wait till they go digital and then I'll see if I want to rent it or buy it kind of person.

Husband went to one of those dental places that advertise for implants. 46,000 for his mouth. I think he should have them pulled and get dentures. A lot cheaper.

I'm having surgery this Friday. The doc is going to separate and elevate the Ulnar nerve in my left elbow. I've got numbness in my little finger and 1/2 my ring finger. Will be in a sling for 2 weeks or so. Joy.

Might be going to Lexington with my husband for a conference. Never been there. Been to Kentucky when I was a kid. He'd be in classes and I can go around and see the sights. I think it would be fun. Plus there's a spa and I could get a massage or two. I'll know more soon.

Daughter is in New Zealand. Such a pretty place. Every night they've gone to a hot spring /geothermal pool to relax. They are driving from Auckland down to Wellington and then will fly back to Auckland, and fly to Sydney. They will then fly back to LAX from Sydney.

I am going to Chicago in June, pick up the kiddo, and driving up to Madison to celebrate my birthday. The next day going up north to spread some of my moms ashes, and drive back to Chicago on Sunday. Flying home on Monday. I decided to fly up front, even if did cost a penny or two. Comfortable seats and decent food and no one putting their tray table in my face.
