A few plans for the rest of the week…

1.  Hope to hear back from the attorney(s)

2.  Submit my retirement paperwork to the agency

I miss my mommy. 

I have a friend . . . . . . . . . . .

He's a good friend. Been friends for over 20 years. He's nuts. He's moving. He's known he was moving for over 1 month. The movers came today expecting to move furniture and be done. But my friend, had not done one blessed thing to get ready. He's had boxes and tape and lots of stuff to put in them. The escrow closes today and the new owner wanted the keys at 6PM. Ain't gonna happen. He's gonna be doing stuff till midnight. Then he and his 2 large dogs are headed north to Oregon. He doesn't have a place to move into yet.

The thing is, 16 years ago about this time, we did this. Same problem, not ready, not accepting that he's going. I only stayed a couple of hours. I should have gone up earlier this week and started packing for him but I have a life and I had things that had to be done.

Went to social security. Saw someone within 20 minutes of getting inside. Then told I had to wait to speak to someone and show them my birth certificate, thank goodness my good friend from MD told me to bring it.
So got there 905, got in 920, saw someone 945, waited till 1145 to see someone in the back. Official. I get my first check in July for June. Am eligible for Medicare A&B.

Met the rep for SCAN health plan and as of June 1, I will have medical insurance again. Thank the Lord and pass the ammunition. Now to get those cards so I can go and get official....Plus they do silver sneakers so I can go to a gym for FREEEEEEEE

Plan to have a quiet and peaceful Memorial Day weekend. Will try to go to the cemetery to my stepdads grave. Might pour some of Mom's ashes on it.

Why I don't want to fly in coach.....

Today was one of those days.....

When I sat up to get out of bed, my back screeched. I reached for the towel in the bathroom and the shoulder screeched right back. Add to that my neck and you have what goes on on a daily basis. I hate to take pain pills during the day, so I put some 4% Lidocaine on the shoulder. Took the pain down to about a 7. After I eat, I'll take a whole pain pill and hope to hell I can get up in the morning without too much pain.

I don't have a sternocleidomastoid muscle on my left side ( had most of it removed when I was a kid because it pulled the side of my face down). The right one makes up for it. That my trapezius are the culprits today.

So I am going to shut down, grab my kindle and read a book.
