It's a hazy day and 1 month into the illegal eviction drama. The ante got upped when our 2nd parking space was taken. We have an attorney on our side and there are laws to be observed. Relocation assistance in the amount of circa 18K. That earned a hangup on the phone. Looking for a place to move to is harrowing and migraine inducing daily. Intimidation and harassment are the words of the hour.
Add to that the incessant crying and loud noise from the child next door, their insane dog that barks at everyone and everything.
I still have my Poppylicious, though she's older and slower. And the Gretchen who came here after my mom died. Inherited my niece as well. She's in love and we don't see a lot of her. She's also job hunting. Daughter is still in Chicago and son is here with us. I wish honestly that husband and I could find a 2BR2 bath place for ourselves, or with son. Just tired of drama.
It was so easy in the before times. Here's hoping the blue skies return and the smile comes back.
Peace
