Occupy Mars?
While I am not a real big fan of science fiction, I do follow space exploration and have a soft spot in my heart for Elon Musk and SpaceX.

This was an interesting book with so many emotions. Loss, death, elation, and the determination to stay alive. It kept me turning the pages, though I felt there was some homage to the film Mission to Mars, with one of the protagonists being alone on Mars until a rescue party found him.

Mark Watney was a complex character and his determination to stay alive made it worth reading. Spend the money and read the book. You'll enjoy it tremendously.

"I received this book free from Blogging for Books to review"

It"s March 12......

and this weekend it's predicted to be in the 90's. WHAT????????

Guess I'll get my shorts and tank top out and sit outside and read a book.

This post is for my husband & Bruce

Not too many people know that my husband is now an atheist. So we live in a mixed marriage. He partakes in the feasts we have at Easter and Christmas. But he goes on rants about aliens and how could there be a God who allows such violence and evil in the world. I can't tell him why but I still believe but I do. I don't doubt the innate belief that he has but I still have a spark of hope that I am not wrong.

***** to Bruce whom I admire and adore your posts, I promise to be a friend online who doesn't tell you you are wrong. ******

So to show you I have a sense of humor here's a cartoon I sent my husband today.
